Christopher J. Masso CRPS®

Managing Partner

Chris Masso has been a financial advisor since 1996, beginning his career at Deutsche Bank in Philadelphia. Today, he is a managing partner at Masso Torrence Wealth Management and regularly consults with clients by listening, learning and motivating them through genuine interactions. His passion for financial planning stems from taking a closer look at his client’s goals and aspirations in order to provide long-term comfort and wealth.

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in economics. He has also obtained the Chartered Retirement Plan SpecialistSM (CRPS®) designation.

Chris previously served as Vice President of the alumni board for Bishop Eustace Prep, his high school alma mater. He is very involved with brain tumor research fundraising and is an active member of the MS Society.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys doing home improvements, fishing and landscaping. He also loves spending time with his wife, Annette, their daughter, Isabella and their family.

John M. Torrence CRPS®, AIF®

Managing Partner

As managing partner of Masso Torrence Wealth Management, John Torrence oversees the investment management process focusing primarily on portfolio construction. He spends a great deal of time utilizing advanced analytical tools and research provided by firms such as BlackRock, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. John’s work offers the rewarding challenge of simplifying the complex lives of our clients by creating a cohesive strategy and building resilient portfolios to meet their objectives in the most efficient manner possible.

John entered the wealth management business in 1994 and has been associated with Merrill Lynch, DB Alex Brown and UBS prior to co-founding MTWM with Chris Masso in 2008. Not only does he hold the Chartered Retirement Plan SpecialistSM (CRPS®) designation, but he also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. This is the industry’s first designation that demonstrates knowledge and competency in the area of fiduciary responsibility and communicates a commitment to standards of investment fiduciary excellence.

When he isn’t working, John supports charitable organizations relating to cancer research, children’s causes and animal welfare. He also spends much of his time with his wife, Melissa and son, Jack. Together, they can be found attending Jack’s sporting events including travel baseball, DEK hockey and competitive flag football. When they aren’t cheering on Jack, the family enjoys spending time in Margate throughout the summer.

Nicholas P. Pantle CFP® , CRPC® , CPFA®

Vice President – Financial Planning

Nick began his career with UBS Financial Services Inc. in 2012 where he worked with a team that managed over $600 million in client assets. It was with UBS that he learned about the challenges clients face when navigating their financial goals and the importance of an in-depth planning and investment strategy. As someone who truly loves helping others and enjoys simplifying complexities, Nick feels grateful that he can connect closely with individuals in a financial capacity.

Since joining the Masso Torrence team in 2017, Nick has applied his skills to handle all financial planning, 401(k) education, investment research and implementation. He’s passionate about empowering people to become retirement-ready and is flexible in whether he meets with them in person, virtually or over the phone. Nick currently holds his Series 7, Series 66, life, health and annuity licenses, the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) through the College of Financial Planning, the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designation, as well as the coveted CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Rowan University and looks forward to further developing his decade of experience in the industry.

Nick is very active in the South Jersey community serving on the Board as well as the Building and Grounds Committee for the Moorestown Community House, as President of the Moorestown Lunch Rotary and past board member of the YMCA Burlington County Advisory Board. When he isn’t working or volunteering, he enjoys golfing, traveling, house projects, and remaining healthy and fit. Nick is a huge animal lover and has 2 dogs (Cody and Ruby) with Ruby being a rescued handicap poodle. Nick also spends a great deal of time with his family and friends and his wife Courtney and son Jay.

Samantha K. Grisham

Office Manager

Providing five-star customer service is Samantha’s expertise as she has a genuine interest in helping others. Samantha is the Client Relationship Manager at Masso Torrence Wealth Management and her role focuses on the client experience. From answering client questions to assisting with money movement needs, she guides the individuals we work with every step of the way.

Samantha earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Rutgers and upon graduating, went on to gain experience in sales, customer service and as a legal secretary. Today, she is enthusiastic about ensuring our diverse clients always have a positive and impactful experience.

Outside of work, Samantha is an avid baker and a passionate volunteer working with feral cats.
