About Us

Chris Masso and John Torrence formed their partnership at the Philadelphia office of Deutsche Bank in 1999. The pair built a substantial practice that focused on corporate retirement plans and comprehensive wealth management for a select client base, including:

  • physicians
  • dentists
  • attorneys
  • small business owners

Christopher J. Masso, CRPS®

Chris Masso has been a financial advisor since 1996, beginning his career at Deutsche Bank in Philadelphia. Chris holds a BS in Economics from the University of Delaware and additionally has obtained the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist designation. The CRPS ® is the nation’s premier credential focusing on retirement plan administration.

Chris also serves as Vice President of the alumni board for Bishop Eustace Prep, his high school alma mater. He is very involved with brain tumor research fundraising and is an active member of the MS Society.

Chris and his wife, Annette, reside in Medford, NJ, with their daughter, Isabella.

John M. Torrence, CRPS®, AIF®

John Torrence began his career in the retirement plan consulting and investment management business in 1994. While at Merrill Lynch, he was part of a team managing over $650 million in private client assets. Not only is John a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist, he also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. This designation is the industry’s first and only designation that demonstrates knowledge and competency in the area of fiduciary responsibility, and communicates a commitment to standards of investment fiduciary excellence.

John supports charitable organizations relating to cancer research, children’s causes and animal welfare.

John and his wife, Melissa, reside in Marlton, NJ, with their son, Jack.

Nicholas P. Pantle, CRPC®

Nick began his career with UBS Financial Services Inc in 2012 where he worked with a team that managed over $600 million in client assets. This is where he learned how to help clients navigate life’s challenges to achieve their financial goals through in-depth planning and investment implementation. He currently holds his Series 7, Series 66, life and health licenses and achieved the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ through the College of Financial Planning.  Nick joined the Masso Torrence team in 2017 in order to bring his expertise in wealth planning and be a valuable resource for our 401k participants.

Nick is active in South Jersey as a member of the Moorestown Rotary as well as being on the Building and Grounds Committee for the Moorestown Community House. He lives with his fiancé Courtney and dog Cody in Marlton, New Jersey.
